Picture Books:

I love writing for young kids and have two books, close to my heart, coming out in 2027 and 2028, plus several that are submission ready: 

• FORTHCOMING: Papa Was a Sea Captain, a story about a girl and her sea captain father, inspired by true events (Owlkids - April, 2027)

• FORTHCOMING: a story about two sisters that must spend the day at Papa’s store, inspired by true events (Kids Can Press, Spring, 2028)

• A penguin story about overcoming fear that takes place in Antarctica (longlisted CANSCAIP’s Writing for Children Competition)

• a unique retelling about a determined chick that must meet the king (longlisted CANSCAIP’s Writing for Children Competition)

Young Adult:

Novel #1:

A contemporary Shakespeare retelling, woven with elements of magic. (Shortlisted, CANSCAIP’s Writing for Children Competition and awarded Letter of Distinction, Humber College School for Writers)

Novel #2 (Work-in-Progress): 

I am currently writing a contemporary novel that takes place in the Rockies. The inspiration comes from one summer in my early twenties when I worked in the stunning Rocky Mountain town of Banff, Alberta.
